What did Yoga Lin's son grab for his zhua zhou ceremony?
Pictures of the ceremony and party were posted online by the singer’s wife
Taiwanese singer Yoga Lin’s son, KUBBE, who has been making waves online for his doe-eyed looks, recently turned one.
To celebrate the occasion, the 32-year-old and his designer wife, Kiki Ting, held a party, where they had a zhua zhou ceremony as well. The ceremony is a traditional practice which requires a baby to pick a few items that will symbolise their future occupation.
After the party, Kiki, who often uploads short videos and photos of KUBBE, shared a number of pictures from the party on her Instagram account. Fans immediately left comments cooing over the baby boy’s doe eyes, commenting that he seems to have taken after Kiki in terms of physical appearance.
Kiki also posted two pictures of KUBBE’s zhua zhou ceremony, where objects like a wooden xylophone, a whiteboard, a baby camera and a toy microphone, amongst others, were strewn around on a mat. In the picture, it appears that KUBBE had grabbed a magic wand during the ceremony.
“My baby, happy first year. Here’s wishing you boundless magical power,” Kiki wrote in her caption, hinting that KUBBE had indeed grabbed the magic wand as his first pick for the ceremony.
Yoga and Kiki tied the knot two years ago in a forest-themed wedding and welcomed KUBBE a year after getting married.
