Vivian Hsu has never shied away from sharing snippets of her personal life online. However, her latest Facebook post had invited a fair amount of scrutiny from netizens, after they noticed that the actress had “digitally altered her face”.
The post, which was uploaded late at night, showed Vivian chowing down on a bowl of piping hot noodles, chopsticks in hand.
“Today, I won’t be dieting! I’ll be fighting with Mr Mala [instead]. I don’t believe that I won’t be able to get the better of you,” she declared in her caption, showing off the noodle brand, which is the brainchild of singer Jam Hsiao.
However, a number of netizens noticed that the chopsticks next to Vivian’s face looked crooked in some pictures, and straight in others. They then suspected that Vivian had digitally altered her jawline so that she would appear slimmer, and voiced their suspicions in the comments section.
Soon after, the entire post appeared to have been deleted by Vivian, with no trace of it on her Facebook page. She also did not leave an explanation for her actions, which led netizens to surmise that the actress had indeed “been caught in the act”.
