TVB Actor Sunny Tai, 48, Says He Wants To Marry Charmaine Sheh

He first knew Charmaine on the set of hit palace drama War and Beauty in 2004 and Sunny quickly developed a thing for the actress. That year, he revealed in an interview that he told Charmaine that he’s interested in her.

“I’ve said to her multiple times that I’ll marry her once I earn a lot of money,” he said then, adding that he once drunk texted her, “I miss you so much”.

Many years have passed but Sunny is still crushing on Charmaine and is apparently holding on to the hope that he and Charmaine will find their happily ever after some day.

In a recent interview, Sunny described Charmaine as a “very great woman". He also said: “I want to marry her and I feel like a lot of people feel that way about her too”

Netizens are not at all impressed with Sunny’s declaration of love, with some of them pointing out that such news “will only end up hurting Charmaine because people will now be waiting for her response".

One netizen summed it up best by saying: “If he’s really interested in her and wants the best for her, he’d try to woo her without putting any public pressure on her. People might call her names if they think that she rejected him for not being famous, handsome or rich enough. There’s no way for her to win in this situation.”

Sunny broke up with his girlfriend in 2017 after five years together and has been single since. He has been an actor for decades and mainly plays supporting roles in TVB dramas such as Ghetto Justice II, A Fist Between Four Walls and Between Love & Desire.
