So when a netizen posted an old photo of Faye they had unearthed, fans were over the moon. The black-and-white photo showed a 12-year-old Faye seated with her classmates for a class photo. 

Although the original photo was blurry, some netizens managed to clean it up using photo-editing software, giving everyone a super clear view of Faye as a kid.

Even as a 12-year-old, the singer is instantly recognisable and already has that signature icy stare that has made her an icon of cool. 

“She's super gorgeous,” gushed one netizen, while another wrote: “She’s already so cool at such a young age so it’s obvious that her public persona is not faked at all”.
