One recent target of online abuse was Malaysian actress Ruby Yap. On April 10, the 28-year-old, who’s known for her androgynous look, shared some thoughts on the COVID-19 outbreak on her social media platforms.

Her post was accompanied by a picture of herself wearing a bikini at the beach, presumably because she was also reminiscing about the good ol’ days when we were still allowed to travel freely and safely.
