Stephen Fung shows his adoration for Shu Qi

Taiwanese actress Shu Qi’s online rants have raised the suspicions of many in recent weeks, with netizens suspecting that there may just be trouble in paradise for the newly-wed 41-year-old, who tied the knot with Taiwanese director Stephen Fung late last year.

Yesterday, Taiwanese actress-host Dee Hsu’s talk show, S-styled Show uploaded a teaser video for their upcoming episode, which will feature Stephen.

In the short snippet, Dee grilled Stephen on his relationship, asking the 42-year-old to rate the performance of Shu Qi in The Adventurers, which he directed.

With a smile on his face, Stephen immediately replied, “She’s definitely a 10 [out of 10].” The director also revealed that the couple rarely quarrels, and that “she has always been good [to me],” dispelling any rumours of conflict between the lovebirds.

During the talk segment, Taiwanese singer-actress Rainie Yang, who also guested on the show, noticed that Stephen was wearing his wedding ring. When asked about it, Stephen revealed that there was “no special reason” as to why he chose to wear the ring, and that it “makes him happy whenever he sees it [on his hand].”

Stephen and Shu Qi tied the knot in a flash marriage last September and have made known their intentions to start a family soon.
