With the addition of Reyner Ng to the family just last month, the actor is now a proud Peh Peh (a term for the older brother of one’s father) of three. We still remember how utterly excited Elvin was at the arrival of his eldest niece Nicole (he had exclaimed “My niece my niece my niece!!!” on social media - so cute, right?).
Since we’ve practically seen Nicole and Arissa grow up on his Instagram, we’ll be looking forward to updates on their younger brother - whom Elvin described as looking “a fine young man, [with a] gentle demeanour with a bit of a slight frown” - as well.

Doting Ah Yi to: Gemma
Gemma hasn’t even turned 2 yet, but she has already gotten the chance to appear in an upcoming Channel 8 drama (My One in a Million) with her famous aunt. Mei Xin proudly reported that her niece was “so well behaved that day”, despite the well-known fact that “it’s not an easy task coordinating with animals or babies on set”.
The actress’s social media followers won’t be a stranger to seeing Gemma on TV, as Mei Xin has shared no small number of pictures with the adorable little girl on her page. With the tot’s numerous facial expressions, we wouldn’t be surprised if she follows in her Ah Yi’s (mum’s sister) showbiz footsteps in the future.

Doting #ProudAunt to: Anna, Alex
Like Mei Xin, Julie has had the pleasure of working with her niece Anna (her cousin and Botany co-owner Cassandra Tan’s daughter) in upcoming Toggle Originals series True Lies. “Really proud of my niece for her first cameo debut! She was really brave in this new environment and managed to gel with everyone, bringing lots of laughter and joy on set”, she gushed in her caption.
Anna’s older brother Alex also makes semi-regular appearances on Julie’s feed, where she’s been shown bringing him on various outings all over Singapore, including Universal Studios and the zoo. We wonder if he’ll get to act alongside his aunt in the future like his sister too?

Doting uncle to: “Little monster”
In addition to being a loving daddy to his two fur-kids Hoshi and Udon, the actor has been known to shower tons of affection on his beloved niece (whose name he has not revealed on social media, although he has fondly referred to her as “little monster” a couple of times).
Despite juggling a packed, jet-setting schedule, Desmond still makes an effort to fulfil uncle duties by bringing her on surprise trips to Sentosa, serenading her with his guitar, and dressing her up in cool clothes. He even worked with an interior design company to do up a fancy, showroom-worthy bedroom for her, earning him some heart-warming, well-deserved hugs and kisses.

Doting uncle to: Skyler, Stacy
Skyler and Stacy are perhaps the most famous niece-and-nephew pair in local showbiz thanks to their uncle’s frequent posts about them, complete with their very own hashtags and a link to their Instagram page. Most of what Romeo documents are from simple moments like chilling at a kopitiam or testing out his drone, but the shots are clearly very full of love and joy.
In an old interview that was conducted when Skyler was still a toddler (before Stacy was even born), Romeo admitted that before becoming an uncle, he had preferred animals to children. Now, he believes he’s prepared to have kids of his own in the future.

Doting grandaunt to: Axel, Evie, Belle
It’s hard to believe that the youthful-looking actress is a grandaunt of three bouncing tots, who now take up a prominent chunk of her Instagram page. She first introduced the world to the older two girls, Belle and Evie, on Christmas Eve 2017, and in October last year, grandnephew Axel made his debut on her feed.
We experienced firsthand just how head over heels Ann is for her precious treasures in an interview early last year: as we reported, “nothing we talked about during our entire conversation got her more excited than when we brought up her grandnieces” (Axel wasn’t born yet then).

Doting uncle to: Raeon, Rahee
The idol is possibly one of the most famously smitten uncles in K-pop. Even his bandmate Xiumin once referred to him as a “joka babo” (literally “niece idiot” in Korean, which basically means that he adores her a lot) on a radio show, something that Kai did not deny.
A brief scroll through his Instagram feed pretty much confirms this. In the midst of stylish #OOTD and landscape shots is a substantial number of posts dedicated to Raeon and Rahee, his eldest sister’s kids. From posing with them backstage at EXO concerts to picking Rahee from school to going toy-shopping with Raeon, it’s clear how much he cares about them.
Doting uncle to: Minyul
Under that rather intimidating appearance is one giant softie who’s totally wrapped around the tiny finger of his little nephew. One can be forgiven for mistaking Minyul as Leo’s son as Leo’s posts about him are almost like that of a proud parent’s.
Minyul has also been featured in an episode of the group’s YouTube reality seriesVIXX TV, where he spent the day at an amusement park with his uncle. In the clip, viewers get to see more of Leo’s tender interactions with the child, which included feeding him, cuddling him on rides, and just showering him with countless kisses.

Doting emo (“aunt” in Korean) to: Roma, Roha
The fact that the actress’s Instagram account name is “roma.emo” (Roma’s aunt) and profile description is “Roma & Roha's Aunt” says a lot about just how important her nephews are to her (yes, they’re in her display pic too).
As such, there are loads of super cute snapshots of her and her little princes on her page, whether it’s of them messing around in giant ball pits (which looks really fun), exchanging kisses at Christmas, or just chilling with stickers all over their faces. She’s also not shied from gushing about them in interviews, and she has even appeared in advertisements with the older one, Roma.
