Perhaps you vaguely recall your first trip to the toy store or the excitement (or horror) of your first day in kindergarten.
But for Taiwanese actress-model Sonia Sui's eldest son, five-year-old Max, his first memories apparently go way back.

In the wee hours of Friday night (May 15), the 39-year-old model took to Facebook to share her son's surprising confession.
Sonia first explained that she once heard that some kids can remember the time before they were conceived, up until when they were born.
So she decided to ask her eldest son, Max, who was then two, if he “remembers living in mummy’s body”. His reply? A long, awkward silence.
This is Max
When Max turned three, Sonia tried to broach the topic again. This time round, Max simply told her that he was “playing with cars and building blocks”.
“Since then, I decided that my son has no memory of his birth at all, so I never asked again,” the mother-of-three said.
But something unexpected happened on Thursday (May 14).
The now-five year old Max revealed to Sonia that he had a dream about living in her tummy.
“My heart felt like it was about to jump out [of my chest], but I composed myself and said: 'Yeah, what did you dream of?'” wrote Sonia.
According to Sonia, Max said: “I remember swimming and sleeping… So boring… Then I saw a hole! There was a lot of water squirting out from there, and then a lot of blood… I just went out through that hole.”
And this totally freaked Sonia out.

She later asked Max if he remembered anything before he “entered mummy’s belly”, to which Max explained that he came from “the skies above”.
“I was with a grandpa and was playing with him. Mum, do you have any idea who that grandpa is?” asked Max.
By then, Sonia was, in her own words, "stunned X 10000000!"
Max then continued: “You know, that grandpa who will punish people who do bad things? Yes, that grandpa!”
Out of curiosity, Sonia asked Max why chose her to be his mum and the kid revealed that he wasn’t the one who decided and that it was the “grandpa upstairs” who did.
“You were chosen by the grandpa, he said you're beautiful. He took me down and put me inside your stomach," Max continued before ending his story by telling his mum that he, um, needed to "pee'.
After hearing what Max said, Sonia felt very moved and thought the exchange was “magical". She ended her post by saying that children have a “unique soul which comes with their own blueprints”.
“They only came to this world through their mother's body, but they are never a carbon copy of their parents, or a model of how parents expect them to look like, and especially not as someone to continue their parents' hopes and dreams. They are themselves, one of a kind”.
