Singer-Songwriter Yuan Weiren In ICU After Slipping Into His 2nd Coma In 3 Years

Taiwanese singer-songwriter John Yuan Weiren is now in a coma after falling over at home. According to reports, the 52-year-old is in the Intensive Care Unit of Mackay Memorial Hospital in Taitung.

His older sister shared with the media that Weiren tried to stand up from his wheelchair, but collapsed to the ground because he was unable to support himself. His head hit the floor as he fell and he lost consciousness from the impact. He is said to be in a stable condition and that doctors are treating him for a recurring fever and bacterial infection.
