The Singapore singer, known for his husky, three-packs-of-cigarattes-a-day vocals, shot to fame in the noughties with hit songs such as 'Dark', ‘He Loves You Very Much’ and ‘Perseverance’. In the early 2010s, he quietly disappeared from showbiz, reportedly because he was suffering from severe depression.

The 48-year-old made his big comeback in 2018, sharing that he had originally meant to release an album in 2015 but had to delay his plans because his mum fell ill. He also revealed that he suffered from panic attacks and had trouble being in front of huge crowds.
