Shin denies reports about girlfriend’s unfaithful behaviour

Taiwanese singer Shin has been dating girlfriend Wei Wei for 15 years, and was considering marriage when news broke out that his girlfriend was cheating on him.

Insiders reveal that the pair broke up after the 46-year-old singer found cheating messages between Wei Wei and a new beau, making him lose hope in the relationship. The singer then reportedly moved out from the house they shared and stayed at S Hotel, opened by his friend and entrepreneur Wang Xiao Fei. He was also revealed to be drowning his sorrows in alcohol, and was uncontactable.

With regards to news that the couple fell out, Shin’s manager expressed that he had not heard of such news, and maintains that he does not know about the couple’s private affairs. He also revealed that the pair shares a stable relationship.

On January 30, Shin clarified rumours with a Facebook post, stating that everything is “fine” in his relationship while expressing bewilderment at the news. Wei Wei also echoed his thoughts, pointing out that Shin already clarified rumours with his post.

The couple was recently seen celebrating a friend’s birthday together, where all seemed well between them as they were seen laughing and talking to each other.

Shin and Wei Wei endured the highs and lows of his singing career throughout their 15-year relationship, and Wei Wei was revealed to have taken good care of Shin and his 16-year-old daughter Xiao Wan Zi (whom he had with ex-girlfriend Zhang Yu Huang) during this time.

Determined to give Wei Wei a good life, Shin registered properties worth NT$300 million (approximately S$13.485 million) under Wei Wei’s name. He also frequently brought her overseas for vacations and first revealed plans of marriage in October last year.
