Hong Kong actor Shawn Yue welcomed his son last Friday (May 11), and was spotted preparing himself for daddy duties.
The 36-year-old was photographed leaving the hospital a day after his son’s birth, and heading to the gym right after to work out, where he shared snaps of his routine over Instagram.
Lifting a medicine ball and weights, Shane shared that there is “no rest for daddy” and that he was “getting ready for Cody” (sic) by ensuring that his body is in good physical condition.
According to Hong Kong media, Shawn wanted to keep the news of his son’s birth under wraps until his wife, Sarah Wang, was discharged from the hospital, but decided to confirm the good news after the media found out. The singer also plans to take a break for two months to help his wife with child-rearing and revealed plans to celebrate their son’s 100th day with friends and family members.
The couple dated for one year before tying the knot in a private ceremony in Melbourne last year. Their sudden nuptials sparked pregnancy rumours, however the actor denied the speculations, and shared that “the order does not matter”, as being happy together is what matters most.
