Hong Kong's famous Avenue of Stars had a reopening ceremony on January 30 after three years of renovation work. Five former Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actress winners - Carol Cheng, Sandra Ng, Teresa Mo, Law Lan, and Cecilia Yip - were invited to take part in the event and leave their handprints for display.

"It's an honour to be able to leave my handprints here," gushed Sandra. "Hong Kong directors love to shoot all kinds of scenes here." The actress herself is set to take up the reins as director for a new film later this year. She tried to invite Carol to join the cast but was rejected by the retired actress in three seconds flat because she said she no longer acts.

In addition to preparing for her new movie, Sandra recently starred in Jolin Tsai's new music video as the goddess of marriage. When asked if she would try to introduce any eligible bachelors to Jolin, Sandra said, "She has good taste and I'm not fit to be a matchmaker! But I wish for her to find love soon."
