Taiwanese pop trio S.H.E are set to put on a special performance at the upcoming Golden Melody Awards, which will take place this Saturday (Jun 29). This performance comes seven years after they last took the stage at the annual awards show.

With their latest song 'Seventeen' nominated for two different awards (Song of the Year and Best Music Video), members Selina Jen, Ella Chen, and Hebe Tien shared that they are both honoured and excited.

“We feel extremely honoured to be able to take part in this alongside all the outstanding musicians,” they shared.

The trio also shared the reason behind their decision to perform 'Seventeen' at the awards show. “This song holds much significance for us, having debuted 17 years ago. We wish to sing and share [the memories] of our youth on stage at the 30th Golden Melody Awards with all the Chinese pop fans,” they explained.

Additionally, they will be performing a rearranged version of the song to allow everyone to listen to an all-new version when the awards show airs on Saturday.
