After dealing with rumours of a troubled marriage and losing over 100 lawsuits over securities disputes last year, it’s safe to say that things haven’t exactly been peachy for Chinese actress Vicki Zhao lately.

Unfortunately, it looks like they’ve gotten a lot worse.

Last week, Tianyancha, a business data search firm that provides information about Chinese enterprises, reported that the 45-year-old’s shares in three companies have been frozen by a Beijing court.

In total, it’s estimated that 2.726mil yuan (S$558,800) worth of her shares will be frozen until April 2024.
