Back in July, Hongkong actor Lee Kin Yan was revealed to have suffered a stroke last year that left him half-paralysed and unable to speak. After sharing a post saying that he will work hard to recover and return to work as soon as he can, he went radio silent for the next four months.

Yesterday (Nov 15), the 59-year-old, who is best known for playing the cross-dressing, nose-picking character Ru Hua in Stephen Chow’s films, finally returned to Weibo to give an update on his condition. He also uploaded a photo of himself with his friend, Hongkong artiste Suzuki Lee, as well as a solo shot of Hongkong actor Louis Koo.
