After five years, Hong Kong actor Raymond Lam will soon be returning to work with broadcasting company TVB again.
At a recent press event organised by TVB, Raymond shared that he was filled with indescribable emotions to be back, and that he was really touched. The actor also announced that he has signed a contract with TVB.
“I've been acting for over twenty years, and have always searched for new experiences and breakthroughs (in terms of my career). The stars aligned, and it was fate that allowed me to return. (Producer) Felix To had approached me with a role that I’m really interested in,” he said, when asked about his decision to return to Hong Kong.
He will be starring in Line Walker 3, a continuation of the original Line Walker crime thriller drama that first aired in 2014. In addition to playing the lead role, Raymond will also be singing the theme song for the drama.
Raymond also let on that he’s planning to hold a concert next year. “(I should make the most of it) while I’m still able to jump about and sing,” he quipped.
The actor-singer also shared that he wishes to have an on-screen reunion with his fellow “TVB 13th Acting Class” classmates. Of all the graduates, Raymond is currently closest to Hong Kong actress Tavia Yeung, as well as Hong Kong actor Mat Yeung. The trio often meet up with their other classmates, including Meini Cheung, Bond Chan, Tsui Wing, Raymond Chiu, Jones Lee, and Olivia Fu. The last time they met was last year, when they celebrated Tavia’s birthday in August.
