Rainie Yang, Li Ronghao are engaged

In the midst of all the recent breakup news is one that bucks the trend: Rainie Yang and Li Ronghao are officially engaged.

The pair had jetted off for an island vacation to celebrate Ronghao’s 34th birthday, which falls today (Jul 11). This morning, he uploaded a selfie of the two of them together, along with a photo of both their hands clasped together, an engagement ring clearly visible on Rainie’s ring finger.

“Today is my 34th birthday, and also the day that I proposed. Thank you for saying yes,” Ronghao wrote.

Netizens have showered congratulatory messages on the couple, and have also asked when their wedding will take place.

Hours before Ronghao shared the good news, Rainie had updated her own social media page with a photo of her hugging him from behind, and wished him a happy birthday in the caption.

The singers are believed to have been dating for four years. Their relationship was accidentally revealed when Rainie uploaded a selfie of her cosying up to him onto Facebook in 2015.
