She also asked the fans how many had attended Ronghao’s Singapore gig, which was held a month ago. The overwhelming show of hands had her wondering why they have the same fans, quipping, “Aren’t there too many people who were present at both concerts?”

During the show, Rainie also asked the fans to pick songs that they wanted to hear next, which was met with the entire hall chanting Ronghao’s name and the title of his iconic song ’Li Bai’.

“Whose fans are you guys?” she laughed. “Whose name are you chanting right now? Police, drag them all away!” She also refused to sing ‘Li Bai’, declaring her husband’s song “too difficult to sing”.

While she didn’t talk about her marriage directly, she radiated happiness throughout the concert - especially during her performance of ‘We Deserve Happiness’.

“I felt a bit sad when I sang this song back when I was single,” she confessed. “Now, when I sing this song, I feel especially blessed. I hope to share this happiness with everyone here.”

This show, being her first since becoming Mrs. Li, had us seeing a very different Rainie Yang. Not only did she bring her A-game in terms of her vocals, the pure happiness that radiated from her as she looked completely at peace with where she is in life had us thinking that whatever it was that sparked her Instagram outburst isn’t what everyone feared it would be.

We do have one request, however. Rather than having a concert in Singapore a month apart, can she and Ronghao perform here together in the near future? We’re sure that all their fans - especially those who are fans of both artistes - would love to see it.
