Pro-HK Police TVB Actor Mat Yeung Accused Of Receiving Special Treatment From Cops
He was arrested in August when he refused to provide samples for a blood alcohol test after crashing his Merc.
TVB actor Mat Yeung got into trouble with the law about two months ago after crashing his car and refusing to cooperate with a blood alcohol test, leading to his arrest and some pretty embarrassing pictures of him getting dragged away. He was then released on bail pending further investigation.
Early last month, the 39-year-old reported back to the police station as instructed while accompanied by his girlfriend, Hongkong-based Malaysian actress Lisa Ch’ng. According to media reports, the two of them were suspected of being given special treatment ‘cos of their support for the Hongkong police.
Not only were they allowed to drive directly into the police car park, over 10 officers set up barriers to prevent the throng of reporters from getting to Mat. Definitely not something you’d expect someone to enjoy during a typical trip to the station.
