Taiwanese model-actress Lin Chi-ling has been hogging the headlines after she confirmed that she will be holding her wedding ceremony on November 17. Her close friend, actress Ariel Lin, later revealed that Chi-ling has requested for guests to not give them red packets, preferring gifts instead.
Over the weekend, photos of the couple in what looked like their wedding photoshoot made the rounds online.
She and Akira were dressed in matching white shirts and jeans and posed next to a bonfire. They had a bevy of staff crowding around them, and photography equipment was also spotted among the sea of staff members.
Fans have expressed their excitement at seeing their wedding photoshoot, especially since both have backgrounds in modeling.
“Wouldn’t it be easier to drum up chemistry since they’re married?” one netizen gushed. “It’s probably going to be the most memorable photoshoot that they’ve done in their lives!”
Others questioned if they decided to forgo wearing a tux and wedding gown, expressing their disappointment that they will not be able to see Chi-ling in a beautiful wedding gown.
One netizen pointed out that they could have chosen to go with a non-traditional outfit choice because they might face backlash if they donned either Japanese or Chinese traditional wedding outfits, given the past tensions between the countries.
