Businesses across the world have been badly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has forced millions of people to stay home and avoid unnecessary trips outside. 

In just these few months, we’ve been saddened by news of businesses announcing the indefinite closure of their stores. These include celebrity-owned shops, such as Hongkong star Cecilia Cheung’s fashion boutique, Nicholas Tse’s cookie biz as well as the cafe that Taiwanese actress Michelle Chen bought for her dad. 

Now, Taiwanese actor Peter Ho’s spa, Hydro Mode, will be joining the growing list of stores that have shuttered due to falling business caused the pandemic.
