Park Yoochun was officially discharged from the military on August 25, 2017 and fans have been eagerly anticipating his return to his official activities since then.

The JYJ member made headlines during his service for all the wrong reasons due to sexual assault allegations, of which he was ultimately found not guilty of. After his discharge from the military, there was news that he would be tying the knot with non-celebrity Hwang Hana on September in the same year, but as of press time, there has been no update of their marital union after it was postponed multiple times.

After months of preparation, Yoochun has been announced to hold his first official event since his discharge, which is a two-day fan meeting in Tokyo, Japan on March 2 and 3. It will be held at the Musashino Forest Sport Centre, and will be both a fan meeting and mini concert combined into one.

Reaction to the event, titled reunion remember the memories, has been mixed, with his fans welcoming the news. However, there have also been some naysayers who have brought up his past scandal, along with his reported engagement, to question why he is still able to continue promoting as a celebrity.
