Pakho Chau and his wife of three years, Stephanie Chu, are now proud parents to a baby girl. The Hong Kong singer made the happy announcement online yesterday (Dec 4), uploading pictures of him with his newborn daughter.
“Hi everyone, my baby daughter has been born. We’re now parents! Miss Chau weighed 6.7 pounds at birth, and looks just as pretty as her mama. Although she’s tiny, she has a loud yell, and has eyes as bright as a gemstone and a full head of hair. I thought she was born wearing a little hat,” Pakho wrote.
The 35-year-old then shared his thoughts on becoming a father for the first time. “This is an indescribable feeling. All I know is that it’s been hard on my wife these days. Women are really so strong, and mothers are really admirable,” he mused. “In the days to come, I will definitely take good care of them, and allow my little princess to become a healthy, happy and kind-hearted person. Right now, I really miss my mother-in-law as well. Please continue to give us your blessings. We’re filled with gratitude.”
In a phone interview, Pakho revealed that his wife is currently recuperating at the Hong Kong Island Hospital. He shared that he has yet to register a name for his daughter, and that the entire family is elated at the arrival of the baby girl.
The singer also explained the reason why he had delayed the announcement of his daughter’s birth, despite the fact that reports quoting insiders had already been published as early as Monday (Dec 2).
According to Pakho, he and his wife wanted to ensure that the elderly members of their extended families would be able to visit them at the hospital easily, which was why the couple originally wanted to announce the good news only after Stephanie was discharged from the hospital.
