Chinese singer Joker Xue, 36, found himself the butt of ridicule when Chinese host Li Hao uploaded a selfie of the two of them on Weibo recently.

“When we’re together, we must gather,” Li Hao wrote in his caption.
But netizens couldn’t recognise Joker at first, probably because his face was caked in make-up.
"I am shocked! Is that Joker Xue?” questioned a fan. "He has started to look like an auntie!" gasped another.
From Joker Xue...
Some even thought that the 'Actor' singer was Chinese Internet personality Vincent Lau, who is known for his plastic surgery and for over-editing his photos, so much so that he looks like a snake. Which explains his 'Snake Boy' nickname.

However, some fans defended Joker by posting recent photos of the singer, saying that he still looks the same as he used to and that he probably looked different in the selfie because it was taken at a bad angle and that the bad lighting did him no favours.

At least he can take a joke
In response to all that hoo-ha, the singer uploaded a selfie with the words: “An auntie-like awkward smile”. He also wore his red hoodie again for added effect.
His self-deprecating post brought about mixed reactions from fans, with some pleading him to “take nicer pictures of [himself]”.
