Man, netizens really are vicious. Back in 2014, Chinese actor Xiao Shenyang made a guest appearance on Chinese reality show The Firsts In Life with his wife, Shen Chun Yang, and their then-six-year-old daughter, Shen Jiarun.

However, what was meant to be a wholesome event for the family-of-three soon turned into a nightmare. Awful netizens criticised Jiarun’s appearance, pointing out her supposed flaws. For some reason, they took issue with her skin tone, eyelids, face shape and teeth. Yup, these netizens somehow saw it fit to insult a six-year-old child, even calling her the “ugliest celeb kid”.
