Nathan Hartono Just Made His Relationship IG Official So Who's His Girlfriend?

The leading lady of Nathan’s life right now is actress Jeon Na-Young, who, according to her Instagram profile (@nainai_young), is a London-based Korean, who was born in the Netherlands. The 29-year-old actress, who’s two years older than Nathan, is currently starring in West End musical The King and I, where she plays the servant Tuptim.

To our surprise, the two have been dating for a year now (gasp!) and have somehow managed to keep the relationship under wraps, perhaps due to the fact that they are in different countries for most parts of the year. Nathan has been shuttling between China and Singapore for work, while his girlfriend splits her time between London and the Netherlands. Nathan, who usually keeps a low profile when it comes to his love life, surprisingly declared his love for Na-Young in his recent IG post: “Thank you for an unforgettable year. Distance is the only thing that is temporary.”

The couple got acquainted when they played husband and wife in The Great Wall Musical in Singapore last July. In a recent interview with Ch 8 news, Nathan shared that he and Na-Young only started dating after the musical ended, saying that they “get along well” and they “make each other happy”. He also talked about the challenges of being in a long-distance relationship, revealing that they Skype each other regularly, and meet up once every three months. Nathan did not reply our message but we found out from snooping on Instagram that he even flew to the Netherlands in January to celebrate Na-Young’s birthday with her close friends. Too sweet.
