Hong Kong actor Michael Tse, who became a household name with his performance as Laughing gor in the television drama, Lives of Omission, is a dad once more. The 51-year-old announced the birth of his second child, a daughter named Mia on Weibo on Wednesday (October 3).
“Hello, I’m here. I’ll introduce myself first. I’m called Mia, weighing in at 2.88 kilograms. I hope all the older brothers and sisters are in good health. (Signing off,) younger sister Mia,” he wrote, introducing his daughter to the world in first-person.
Michael tied the knot with his non-celebrity girlfriend, Tina Lee, in 2005. In 2015, after four failed attempts at IVF (in-vitro fertilisation), the couple succeeded, with Tina giving birth to their first child, a son named Theo Tse.
In April this year, Michael announced that Tina was expecting their second child.
In an interview with the media after the arrival of Mia, Michael shared that he was over the moon. To his delight, his latest project, the movie Golden Job, recorded over 10 million viewers in Hong Kong on the same day as well. The father-of-two also shared that he will definitely treat his two children equally, saying, “I'll dote on both of them, I only have two (kids)! How can I be biased (towards one).”
