Great bosses are hard to find, but it looks like the employees of Ming, a high-end Cantonese restaurant in Hongkong’s Causeway Bay district, have nothing to worry since one of its co-owners is Louis Koo.

Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak, many businesses have suffered, shuttered, or had their staff sent home. While Louis confirmed to Hongkong media that his restaurant will suspend operations until early March (depending on how things look by then), everyone working there will get to keep their jobs and their salaries.

“Our company tries not to retrench staff, and we definitely will not ask anyone to take unpaid leave,” said the 49-year-old actor. “The economic situation isn’t the best right now, but we will try to help out as much as possible, and we will certainly protect our employees’ livelihoods.”
