On January 13, Liza updated her Instagram with photos of her heading to the wet market and she shared that she was on her way to buy ingredients to make radish cake. According to the star, this is something she does every Lunar New Year and she would deliver the yummy dish to her loved ones ahead of the festive season.

Three days later, she got to work in the kitchen but not before posting photos of herself preparing to cook up a storm. But what caught the attention of netizens weren't the huge amounts of radishes, Chinese sausages and cured pork belly laid out on the table, but that she had three helpers with her.

“How big is her house that she needs so many extra pairs of hands at home?” one netizen wrote. As Liza rarely posts photos of herself at home, netizens were curious to know if the three domestic helpers who helped with the cooking are all employed by Liza.

Her followers also wanted to know which of her showbiz friends were lucky enough to receive the homemade radish cakes, which were wrapped up in festive red and gold.

Liza, who is also known to be a total badass, has not responded to any of the comments at press time, but has continued to update her IG with more snippets of her daily life.

Some netizens have pointed out that since Liza, who is married to fellow actor-singer Law Kar Ying, 73, has been popular in showbiz for over forty years, she could easily afford a huge house. Also, both she and Kar Ying are getting on in years, so having more than one helper to do house work isn't unreasonable... especially if they live in a big house.

The minimum wage for foreign domestic helpers in Hongkong is said to be HK$4630 (S$800) a month. So having three helpers at home would set a person back some S$28,800 a year.
