Hong Kong screen maven Liza Wang is a better Instagrammer than most women her age – that is, if grannies her age are even on a smartphone, using Instagram.
The actress just started an account in October and has been dutifully sharing snippets of her daily life – at events and official functions with her 17.6k—at press time—followers.
Her mundane updates include mirror selfies of her getting prepped for events, pre-requisite airport pictures, as well as traffic updates about jams from Tseung Kwan to Kowloon in Hong Kong. She’s even got her hashtags down pat and knows how to upload multiple pictures at a go.
According to Hong Kong media, Liza’s unique ‘tagging’ method has caught the attention of her followers. Instead of using the in-built function to tag friends, the actress prefers to scribble their names directly on the pictures.
After attending a charity function last weekend, Liza posted pictures she took of her friends and wrote their respective names under each person. Pictures taken of the younger TVB actresses at the station’s annual celebration yesterday were also accompanied by written captions such as “sweet” and “excited.”
Netizens were amused by the 71-year-old method of tagging and captioning her photos and left remarks on her posts, praising her ‘funny’ and ‘trendy’ methods.
We’re all for originality but can someone tell her to use a different coloured ink instead.
