Hongkong broadcaster TVB recently held their annual Anniversary Awards ceremony, which was attended by hundreds of artistes, including Liza Wang, who was accorded the honour of opening the show.

Liza, who has been with the station for over 50 years, is the undisputed ah jie of TVB, which explains why the 73-year-old was able to make use of her time on stage to lobby for her fellow colleagues.
