Ex Miss Hongkong Kayi Cheung Slammed By Parents Of Daughter’s Schoolmates For Showing School's Textbook During Live Stream

Kayi's video did not sit well with parents who have children studying in the same school. In fact, they were so outraged, they left messages scolding the beauty queen.

One irate parent wrote, “The school has always reminded us that we need to keep their materials confidential. I’ve informed the school about what you’ve done and will urge them to take action against you," while another said that she has asked Learning Habitat to "expel" Kayi's daughter.

Yikes.

One parent explained why everyone was so angry with Kayi. She wrote: “All of us jump through hoops to ensure that our kids get into the best schools. By revealing such precious information online, you’re giving other kids who don’t attend the same school the materials for free. Why would you jeopardise your own daughter’s chances of getting into a good primary school like this?”

Kayi has since responded to the criticism, and from the sound of it, doesn't think she did anything wrong.

She wrote: “The broadcast went on for 40 minutes and most of it was spent talking about how mums can prepare themselves when their kids to go to school (…) But everyone just focused on the moment when I pulled out the textbook.”

When Kayi was asked by the media if Learning Habitat has contacted her about the fiasco, she said that it was “inconvenient to respond” and asked netizens to “calm down [as] the video has been deleted.”
