Joe Chen spotted on a vacation with Andy Chen
The Taiwanese actress appears to be enjoying herself with her drink-driving incident behind her
Since then, the 38-year-old actress was served 60 hours of community service, which she will have to complete over the next one and a half years.
According to Taiwan media reports, onlookers spotted Joe recently in America, enjoying her vacation with a male travel partner, later identified to be MTV VJ and Chinese host Andy Chen.
The pair had known each other for over 16 years, and was seen enjoying each other’s company as Joe was all smiles and appeared to have put the negative incident behind her.
In 2014, Andy reportedly proposed to Joe to fulfil a promise he made in jest, when he said he would marry the actress if she did not wed by the time she turns 35.
“If she needs me (to propose), I will definitely do it, but I think she does not need my help when it comes to marriage,” the host said at that time, seemingly hinting that the actress will not face any problems in the romance department.
