The actor-singer professed that he still hopes to experience a passionate relationship in future

Taiwanese actor-singer Jerry Yan’s recent guest appearance on the variety show Ace VS Ace has proved to be a treasure trove of snippets about the 42-year-old’s outlook on relationships and love.

During the episode, Jerry revealed that as he comes from a single-parent family, he has become used to expressing his love in a different manner, even towards his mother. However, this has caused him considerable troubles in his relationships.

“I personally think that I love very deeply, but I find it hard to express that love,” he shared.

However, he let on that he still wishes to gather up the courage to experience a passionate relationship in the future. Jerry also mused that he will seize the opportunity if he finds someone that he likes in the hopes that they will be able to spend the rest of their lives together.

He also expressed his regret for how he handled a previous breakup. Jerry shared that the other party had wanted to break up with him, and thathe was unable to express his true feelings at the time. He could only share his regret with his friends after the breakup, which is something he shared that he regrets.

“I wanted to tell her that I was sorry,” Jerry revealed, adding that he shed tears in front of his friends.

The 42-year-old’s words has given rise to speculations that Jerry may be referring to his short-lived reunion with Taiwanese model-actress Lin Chi-ling in late 2017.
