The last time Jay Chou performed at the Singapore Grand Prix in 2012, he was still a swinging bachelor. Now, six years later, the pop star and happily-married father-of-two will once again take to the stage at Marina Bay Steet Circuit where he’ll serenade his adoring fans with his songs from his latest album Bedtime Stories as well as his biggest hits and hopefully bless everyone with more Instagram gems. In a statement released by Singapore GP, Jay will perform on Day 1 (Sep 14) of the F1 Night Race. [Here’s some goss: It was reported in the Taiwanese media that Jay raked in a whopping $840,000 an hour for his performance at the Padang in 2012, which, if the rumours are true, probably explains this.]

According to Channel NewsAsia, Jay’s set will also include a special collaboration with Singaporean jazz singer Joanna Dong, who he had mentored in Chinese reality singing competition Sing! China.

The other headline acts of the Formula 1 2018 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix, which takes place from Sep 14 to Sep 16, are American band The Killers, Dutch DJ Martin Garrix and British singer-songwriter Dua Lipa. Other performers in the line-up include Bjorn Again, Simply Red, The Sugarhill Gang, Japanese pop-rock band Sekai No Owari and Young Fathers.

Homegrown acts will also have a chance to shine this and music lovers can look to forward to performances by pop-jazz singer Miss Lou, indie band M1LDL1FE, as well as DJ acts Myrne and EATMEPOPTART.
