Janet Hsieh plans to have a second child

It will be a geriatric pregnancy, as she turns 38 this year

Janet Hsieh plans to have a second child
Taiwanese-American host Janet Hsieh revealed recently that she and her husband, Singapore-based actor George Young, are hoping to have a second child. She shared that it will likely happen after their
son, 6-month-old Egan, grows a little older. However, as she is turning 38 this year, she is worried about the high risks involved with her advanced maternal age when bringing the child to term.

She further revealed that George started spending more time with the family after Egan was born, but is currently working in America while she continues her work in Taiwan.

The 38-year-old actor, however, is open to getting permanent residence in Taiwan if he could find jobs here, although he is still not fluent in Mandarin.

“To George, I place third in importance,” she joked, “His work is first and Egan is second, which leaves me in third place. I’m living such a sad life!”

Despite her gripe about her husband’s priorities, Janet shared that George is good at taking care of Egan, and will help her out as she gets easily nervous. “It also helps that Egan is really well-behaved, and doesn’t cry much,” she expressed, “He started sleeping more these days, so I can get a good night’s sleep too.”Janet and George
