Taiwanese actress Janet Hsieh, who’s currently four months pregnant, recently uploaded a picture on her Instagram thanking her husband of two years, Singapore-based actor George Young, for sending her for a massage before she flew back to Taiwan.
In the picture, Janet, who has apparently just finished her massage, sits on the massage table with a towel covering her body. Fans soon started leaving comments praising her figure, commenting that they can barely tell that Janet is four months pregnant.
However, the 37-year-old’s post also attracted a flurry of concerned comments from netizens, who shared that “pregnant women shouldn’t go for massages”. One comment in particular accused Janet of endangering the health of her unborn baby.
On Monday (April 8) Janet finally replied to the comments, sharing the link to the website for a prenatal massage centre. In the website, it was mentioned that the centre only employed certified masseurs, and that prenatal massages helped soothe the frazzled nerves of the mothers-to-be, as well as their sore muscles and joints. The website also shared that their massages helped to ensure the health of both mother and unborn child.
Janet tied the knot with her husband, George Young, in 2015, in an intimate wedding ceremony in Antarctica, slightly over a year after going public with their relationship. The couple announced that they were expecting their first child on April Fool’s Day this year.
