Jam Hsiao sustains second basketball injury in three months

But the singer does not intend to let anything stand in the way of his love for the sport.

Jam Hsiao’s love for basketball is well known — the Taiwanese singer regularly plays together with a number of celebrity friends, including Taiwanese multi-hyphenate Jay Chou. He also takes part in charity matches, with the most recent one being held in August this year.

However, the 32-year-old’s love for the sport has also caused him to sustain a number of injuries. In August this year, he injured his left hand during a charity basketball match, causing it to swell up.

Earlier this week, Jam was injured on the court yet again during a friendly match at Xinsheng Park in Taipei. As he was preparing to walk under the basketball hoop, his teammate happened to move backwards, causing a collision. The singer then fell to the ground, with blood gushing out of a wound near his left eye.

Fortunately, one of Jam’s teammates, a doctor, was able to treat the singer’s injury immediately. He was then sent to the hospital, where he received six stitches for the cut.

Later, Jam reassured everyone that he was all right, and that he is “ready to return to the court anytime”.
