GOT7’s Jackson Wang attended the unveiling of his new wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong yesterday (Jul 29). About 300 fans came to show their support, and his parents were also there to witness the special event with him.
Although he had already seen the wax figure for the first time two days earlier, the 25-year-old singer could not help but to express his amazement at how lifelike it was again. Adding to the uncanniness was the fact that they were both dressed in the exact same outfit, which was from his collaboration with Fendi.
According to Jackson, he spent six hours getting his measurements and details recorded so that the resemblance could be as accurate as possible. At the end, even the moles on his face were reflected on the wax figure. “So this is what it feels like to look at me!” he quipped.
Jackson then recalled visiting the museum with his parents when he was about nine years old. At that time, he never imagined he would ever join the ranks of the other celebrities to get a wax figure of his own, but now, one of his biggest dreams has come true.
Speaking of his dreams, Jackson then took the opportunity to reassure everyone that although he’s been working nonstop, he gets to do what he loves every day, so he feels happy and fulfilled to be working so hard. He also revealed that he will be releasing two new singles next month, as well as a solo album in October.
