Jackie Chan posts rare tribute to wife on her birthday

The action star rarely talks about his personal life

Hong Kong action star Jackie Chan is known to be a man few words when it comes to his relationship with his wife of 37 years, former actress Lin Feng-jiao.

On Wednesday (January 30), Feng-jiao celebrated her 66th birthday, with Jackie posting a rare dedication to her on his Weibo account.

Feng-jiao was a full-time actress before tying the knot with Jackie. However, after their marriage, she withdrew from the limelight to focus on supporting Jackie from the sidelines. Jackie, who has mentioned before that he’s “not a romantic person”, took the opportunity to thank her for her efforts and sacrifice in the years that they have been married.

“To Lin Feng-jiao: Thank you for a lifetime, thankful for this lifetime, for having you~ Jackie wishes the most beautiful big sister, happy birthday,” the post read. Jackie also uploaded a special song as a present for Feng-jiao. Titled ‘Thank You For A Lifetime’, the song, which was written by pop star Jay Chou, was released by Jackie last year.

Jackie and Feng-jiao tied the knot in 1982, and welcomed their son, Jaycee Chan, in the same year.
