Is Elroy Cheo and Elva Hsiao’s relationship on the rocks?

Taiwanese Mandopop singer Elva Hsiao and Vanness Wu’s brother-in-law Elroy Cheo have always given off positive and lovey-dovey vibes in their relationship, up until the Singaporean businessman unfollowed her on Instagram a few days ago. Naturally, netizens began to speculate that this was an indication of a breakup.

On Elva’s side of things, she is still following her boyfriend on social media, but she has told her close friends that she would be cancelling her plans to organise a celebration for Elroy’s birthday next week.

Fortunately, her close friends revealed to reporters that the couple are not breaking up and that the two held a temporary grudge against each other over a small matter that had to do with their mutual friend.

Since the couple started dating last year, Elroy has always been a very supportive boyfriend and even watched her judge on the variety programme Road to Star, from where he was seated amongst the live audience during the recording of the show in China. Elva, on the other hand, always said that “work is [her] top priority”.
