It’s said to cost at least S$3.48mil a year to maintain your own plane.
Just last month, netizens got up in arms about Chinese pop idol Huang Zitao flaunting his wealth on social media.
His feed, which is filled with photos of his expensive watches, luxury cars, multi-million dollar art pieces and his private jet, drew flak because netizens felt that it “wasn’t right” for the 27-year-old to be so ostentatious so soon after his father’s death. Zitao’s father, businessman Huang Zhongdong, passed away earlier this year and reportedly left his S$4bil fortune to his only son.
