Hongkong Star Shirley Yeung Doesn’t Regret Being A Single Mum; Says She Became A “Superwoman” After Having A Kid
Shirley, whose daughter is now eight, got married last year and wants to use her life experiences to encourage single parents to never give up on love.
Shirley Yeung, 41, has come a long way since she was crowned Miss Hongkong in 2001. Her win was one for the record books, as she bagged six different awards, a feat that has yet to be repeated.
In 2011, her love life started unravelling publicly after she broke up with her longtime boyfriend, Hongkong actor Gregory Lee. She then got together with Andy Ng, a former Hongkong diver. However, they broke up after a few months. Shirley, who was pregnant at that time, decided to raise her daughter Krystal as a single mum, which led her to take a temporary break from acting.
