Have you ever been tagged in someone else’s photo on social media where they looked great, but you looked, well, not your best? As it turns out, that can happen to celebrities too, even those who are known for their beauty.
On July 6, Chinese art collector Wanwan Lei, who has been dubbed the “Douban goddess” and “original influencer”, shared photos of herself with Chinese actress Fan Bingbing on her socials. Although she gushed about Bingbing being “super beautiful” on Weibo, some haters disagreed and ridiculed the 38-year-old for appearing “haggard”, “old”, and looking like a “commoner”. They also remarked that her clothes made her neck look "short" and her face “listless”.
On the other hand, netizens said Wanwan looked more radiant, which inevitably led to comparisons between the two women, with some comments saying that Bingbing has lost her “goddess-like beauty”.
