Hannah Quinlivan sure seems to be living life on the fast track, having tied the knot with Taiwanese multi-hyphenate Jay Chou, who is 14 years her senior, when she was 21. Since then, the 25-year-old has welcomed two kids, 3-year-old Hathaway and 1-year-old Romeo.
In a recent interview, Hannah opened up about the pros and cons of having two kids at the age of 25. Hannah shared that as she does not have a large age gap with her children, it’s easier for her to become their friend. However, as she is still relatively young, there are moments where she struggles to control her temper. She also admitted that she tends to have a short temper when disciplining Hathaway and Romeo.
Hannah also let on that she loves to travel and see the world. But, as she cannot bear to part with her two kids, she often brings them along with her overseas. In recent weeks, the family of four has travelled to England and France, spending time with Jay as he brings his concert tour overseas. Thus, the model-actress admits that she sometimes thinks that she’s “really a selfish mother”.
But, their experience travelling overseas together has helped to mellow Hannah out, with the mother-of-two sharing that she does not believe in corporal punishment.
Revealing that Hathaway has an assertive personality, Hannah shared that whenever she throws a tantrum, Hannah will begin a “cold war” with Hathaway, giving both of them some time to cool down, before talking to the 3-year-old again so that she will understand the consequences of her actions.
