South Korean actor Ha Jung Woo, who is best known for his roles in the Along With the Gods films, held a press conference to promote his new book in Seoul on November 27.
The book contains essays that recount some of his most memorable moments while walking, a long-time habit and hobby of his. Jung Woo then said that he often walked to work when he was still an unknown actor, and continues to do so to this day.
"One day, while walking home, I realised that the fresh air made me forget all about my tiredness and hunger," he explained, adding that walking can also help keep one's mind free from stress. "So I want to let readers know how important and beneficial walking can be."
According to Jung Woo, he likes wandering through small alleys and along the Han River. He estimates that he walks about 30,000 steps a day, and once chalked up as much as 100,000 steps.
