Hongkong singer-actress Gillian Chung has been rushed to the hospital after suffering what was described as “a serious head injury” in her hotel room in China, a rep from her management company has confirmed.
According to a statement from Emperor Entertainment Group, the accident happened at around 2am this morning (Sep 7) in her hotel room in Xiamen, where she is filming a new show. However, there are no details on what exactly happened to cause the injury.
“[Gillian suffered] a serious head injury and quickly notified her best friend Joey Yung and manager Mani Fok. ‘Cos of her severe injuries, she was immediately taken to The First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University. Mani and Joey also took the first flight from Beijing to Xiamen to help Gillian.”
