Gillian Chung defends husband against comments about his weight

Gillian Chung attended the opening ceremony of a brand in Hong Kong on March 13. She shared that because of the erratic weather, she has been suffering from skin allergies, but assured everyone that she has recovered from her previous sickness.

The singer-actress's husband Michael Lai was recently photographed and looked to have put on a lot of weight. However, Gillian defended him, saying, "He is not a celebrity, so please don't give him so much pressure. When I see negative news reports about myself, I can easily laugh it off, but he gets bothered when he sees bad things written about him."

It was rumoured that Gillian's Twins band mate and good friend Charlene Choi will marry her wealthy boyfriend at the end of the year. "I doubt that's true," she said. "She has never mentioned anything about marriage plans to me before."
