The teaser trailer for Deadpool 2 has arrived… even though the movie is still in pre-production (according to IMDB Pro).
Anyhoo, the nearly four-minute teaser — which is tagged to Logan in the US — sees Ryan Reynolds back as the Merc with a Mouth, trying to save a guy from being mugged while John Parr’s ‘St Elmo’s Fire’ plays in the background. ‘Trying’ being the operative word here.
Presently, we know little of the sequel except John Wick co-director David Leitch is calling the shots, and Stranger Things’ David Harbour is reportedly in talks to play Cable/Nathan Summers, a time-travelling mutant who in the comics is the son of Cyclops/Scott Summers.
Warning: The teaser contains some salty language. What did you expect? It’s friggin’ Deadpool.
And if you're curious about the song playing in the background. Check this out, and pay close attention to the mullet.
